“I’ll Pass!” 2.0 for iPhone® and iPad® — Biggest Update in App’s 11-Year History
Plymouth, Minnesota — September 9, 2026 — Tim Fischer Designs would like to announce the release of I’ll Pass! version 2.0 for iPhone® and iPad®, available now on the Apple App Store as a free download.
The rules haven’t changed — play a chip, or take the card and every chip on it — but everything else has. I’ll Pass! 2.0 is a complete reboot of the beloved push-your-luck card game, featuring an all-new look, smarter opponents, and a redesigned multiplayer experience.
What’s New in 2.0
Live Play — Formerly called Multi-Play, the multiplayer experience has been completely redesigned. Players can now jump into a game with anyone online through Game Center Quick Match, while Game Center Invite Friends lets players choose exactly who they play with. A free daily Live Play game is included, with additional sessions available through optional rewarded ads or a one-time in-app purchase for unlimited games.
Meet the Bots — Solo play now features an all-new cast of named bot opponents, each with their own distinct personality and skill level. A separate roster of bots fills open seats in Live Play, so players encounter different faces depending on how they play.
Mr. Pass — In-game rules and reminders have been reimagined as animated mascot speech bubbles, making it easier than ever for new players to learn as they go.
Full Visual Overhaul — Every screen in the app has been redesigned, along with dozens of bug fixes and performance improvements.
Pricing and Availability
I’ll Pass! 2.0 is available now on the App Store as a free download. Solo play is always free, supported by a short ad after each game or a one-time in-app purchase. Live Play (with other humans) includes one free game per day, with additional games available via rewarded ad or in-app purchase.
I’ll Pass! requires iOS 15.0 or later and is designed for iPhone and iPad.
